« For the attention of ‘ The Directors’ of Abafim My husband, Colin, and I wish to express our absolute gratitude to both Nicolas and Jeanette for everything they have done to assist us with the search and purchase of our house in Montaillou. We decided early 2012 that we wanted to buy a property in the Pyrenees, we holiday every year in the Spanish Pyrenees. I contacted several agencies but it was Abafim by way of Nicolas that contacted me within a few hours. I was very impressed at the speed of response and helpful nature; this formed the basis of working with Nicolas. We planned to be in Spain during the summer and arranged to come to Tarbes to look at several properties. Nicolas made all of the arrangements and accompanied us to each property. Everything that Nicolas showed us had some potential. However it was the last property, some distance from Tarbes that Nicolas suggested we might wish to see; it was not in the area we thought we wanted to be but as it was en route to Perpignan the direction we were travelling back to Spain we decided to see. The house was situated in the village of Montaillou near the town of Ax Les Thermes. The moment we saw it we knew it was the house for us. We travelled back to Spain and called Nicolas asking for a second visit; a few days later we returned and later that day we made our offer to buy the house. This was towards the end of August 2012. In the weeks that passed Nicolas introduced us to Jeanette who was supporting Nicolas and who became invaluable in the role of ‘interpreter’, however Jeanette was so much more than this. She took a personal interest and provided us with great advice and service. Every question asked was answered quickly and fully. Every concern was addressed; between Nicolas and Jeanette we felt very confident and secure that our best interests were being taken care of by the agency. We met Jeanette in Ax on December 20 at the office of the Notary to sign the Final Act; again Jeanette ensured we understood every element of what we were about to sign for. We had no hesitation as we had full trust in Jeanette to represent us well. We are now the very proud owners of a beautiful mountain house in an amazingly welcoming and friendly village. Our journey from initial contact with Abafim, to working with Nicolas to find us that perfect property, to being supported by Jeanette was handled with professionalism, courtesy, enthusiasm and care. We have been amazed at how easy this journey has been and that is the best compliment I can make to both Nicolas and Jeanette; whom I consider to be a friend and look forward to welcoming them to visit with us in our new French home. Thank you to all the Abafim team as I am sure in the background other people were also working to support us. I have enclosed a photograph of the view from our mountain house..... it is amazing! « Hallo wij zijn Marco en Natasja Peters, Medio 2006 zijn wij op zoek gegaan naar een geschikte woning waar ook gîtes bij konden worden gerealiseerd. Wij kwamen via internet terecht bij Abafim in Tarbes. Op de dag van de afspraak, gebeurde het gene waar meerdere mensen ons voor hadden gewaarschuwd, de woning was net een dag eerder verkocht door een andere makelaar, want dat kan hier in Frankrijk. De makelaar, Frieda Kreuk, nam toen even de tijd voor ons en heeft toen al onze wensen genoteerd. Met deze gegevens heeft ze in de computer een drietal woningen geselecteerd waar we direct naar gingen kijken. De eerste woning die we gingen bekijken was meteen een schot in de roos. In deze woning en in dit prachtige gebied zijn wij ons nieuwe avontuur gestart. »

J'ai du mal à l'accepter, un coup de coeur ne se commande pas, cette charmante maison en Val d'Azun correspond tout à fait à ce que je recherche. Dans l'éventualité ou l'acte définitif de ce bien n'est pas encore signé pour je ne sais quel motif (non obtention du prêt bancaire ou ???) je souhaiterai visiter ce bien. Comptant sur votre compréhension et votre diligence, je vous prie d'agréer, Madame, Monsieur, mes très sincères salutations. »
